Even if BA avoid the last spot, that is hardly a convincing show in terms of value, especially when one remember their pretentious (and rather laughable) claims that unlike low cost airlines they "would not charge inflated prices" for onboard food and drink.

orbitmic - ^ for providing such detailed price information covering a range of carriers ; this certainly helps to give a more complete picture.
On the basis of your comparisons, I now feel that my earlier post (#10, upthread) holds good, in relation to the bold claims made by BA as part of their justification for introducing BoB. Their assertion that they would be not be charging ‘inflated prices’ was considered by many as wholly unconvincing at the time ; and seems just as disingenuous today.
All said & done, they’re all pretty much as bad as each other - but it was only BA who were making the big claims !
There are clearly cases where the price of a single drink on BA is cheaper (or at least compares favourably) versus other carriers, and on ‘business heavy’ routes, that could well be a good thing. BUT it’s on the many leisure sectors where BA’s continued lack of any combo deals results in families losing out in terms of their overall BoB spend.
