Mentioned prices should be for 2 hours, when once I pad for the admission, even I stayed 3+ hours, nobody seemed to care to check whether I was still in the time limit or not, anyway this was my experience more than one year ago, not sure if now policy changed.
Al Reem is also used by EY Silver guests traveling in Economy, thus can be quite crowded during peak hours, in such cases before charging the entry fee the attendant will allow you to enter and checking whether there are free seats, they will also propose you straight away to join the Plaza Premium membership free program (Arture) that will grant you 10% discount directly on the entrance fee. The lounge itself in nothing special, by the way there is decent seating, choice of food (few hot options included) and beverage alcohol included, toilet and showers can be crowded during peak time.
I never visited Al Dhabi Lounge, reading some reviews seems better than Al Reem thus maybe worth the little extra money.
I was in the Al Reem lounge last week. I have been using it for many years and I have never seen them enforce time limit restrictions. I find this lounge pretty good. Not quite as good as the EY Business class lounges, but there isn't much difference. 8 hours in any lounge is not ideal. Depending on the time of day (and visa status), I would consider leaving the airport completely with an 8 hour transit and find something to do. If it was night time, I would also consider the "Premier Inn" for a few hours quality sleep before embarking on the next journey.
