Sorry I'm confused - how are you adding another sector between SFO-LAX and where to? I was particularly referring to JFK-LAX where I would specify JFK-LAX and then ask for the flights via SFO to make JFK-SFO-LAX.
Could you detail what you're trying to put together? If it prices up in ITA matrix it
should be possible to book.
