What carrier is your phone on? We recently switched to T-Mobile, we had free wifi, texts, and data across Asia and Europe. Phone calls were only $.20 a minute, and we didn't need to fuss with SIM cards etc. Call your carrier, they can probably help (or switch to TMobile!).
