If you can't walk 2000 feet in 4.5 minutes you're probably near death (also you've got to add time to go up and down escalators)
Seriously? In an airport while hauling lauggage and navigating around clueless travelers and unsupervised children? What if you’re traveling with elderly or disabled persons, or young children? Every time I try to walk, the train beats me. I’m not in the best physical shape, but I’m far from being in the worse physical shape and I know I’m no where close to being “probably near death.”
Last fall, my family exited TSA and arrived near the center train station just as a train was pulling in. Knowing that we wouldn’t make it, we literally ran, but encountered all sorts of obstacles and ultimately arrived at our gate (just outside the south station) literally seconds after the door closed. Had we taken the train, we would’ve made the flight. I’d say I learns my lesson but I know it’ll happen again.
