How are you even able to select Premium Economy? I don't see it as an option on the AA Vacations drop down just now. However you get it, I would expect it to earn as indicated in the table. If, for some reason, it doesn't- call and have them fix it.

AA Vacations has updated their website recently and Premium Economy is now an an option. If you click on Travelers you will see options for booking class as well as to change number of travelers. Another option is to click on the Advanced Search link and that will display booking class options as well.
