"So they brought in two female officers and took me not to necessarily the most private place in the airport and made me take off my top. Thank God I'm not a shy person, but what if I was shy?
More TSA folks (or LEOs if the "officers" weren't TSA) who should be fired with predjudice if it was not a private place.
If TSA would actually fire (expediently) the people that do this sort of thing, they probably wouldn't have "thousands standing around" accusations and might even be able to hire more (competent) people in the locations they need them for screening (instead of harassing) without exceeding their hiring cap.
And if they quit searching for knitting needles and pocket knives, which are not credible threats to aircraft, they could turn the wands back up to a setting that would not trigger on undergarmets, piercings, and pants clasps, avoiding the needless groping of thousands of women (and men; I don't particularly like a screener feeling
below my pants-clasp, which is completely unneeded giving the size and visibility of the clasp).
