Assuming it’s more than 48 hours from pickup, just click on the cancel link at the bottom of the original confirmation email and you’ll get a full refund. You can then re-book a new reservation at the lower rate (or book first to ensure you get the lower rate before you cancel). It should be pretty easy/straightforward.
