I was counting 3 nights for that stay (Dec. 29-Jan 1). But, if they count all 7 nights for 2018, then I would have my 50 nights and get the 5 SNA's.
in the past spg would have counted 2 nights towards 2018 & 5 nights towards 2019....no clue how marriott does things & how they will be counted now....
