Hi dsweet,

I have flown both Club world in BA and the non suites and Suites on Virign.

Whilst the flat bed is good ( BA and the VS suites) I liked the non suites on VS also.( we call them the J200 seats)

I'm only 5ft 10 and I found the BA Club bed a little tight on the arms when lying down and a little small.

In terms of overall quality of service I found the VS was better than BA ( it is small things like soup, salt and pepper pots, on board bar, better selection of cereal for breakfast, duvets rather than blankets on BA).

Crew were good on both BA and VS.

In going BA I would try to get the 747 flight and choose the upper deck as 2-4-2 on the main deck or on the 777 looks tight.

The VS lounge at IAD is good with pre flight dining and the cluhouse/revivals lounge at LHR is excellent ( better than BA).

I have done a trip report ( to YYZ on BA) in the trip report section comparing BA/VS.

Visit www.v-flyer.com for lots of info on Virign.

I have not flown United.

Regards
