Sorry, I for one am against the airline automatically rebooking me without my consent. This is usually because I can always do a better job of it myself. I've found all automatic protection does is prevent passengers from rebooking onto flights they want to be on because other passengers were rebooked on to those same flights when they often don't want to be on.
