Is it correct that you can convert the old packages into the new points-based packages? If so, is it just the case of adding the points difference between a Cat 1-4 and a Cat 6 for example? What are the reasons for you to have A FEW TPs lying around? Just too cheap? You know the TPs are only good for one year.
The current words from Marriott is that those TPs can't be upgraded. So you'll need to go to some average places. Or stay at some foreign countries with those TPs.
Maybe we all get lucky and we can upgrade those TPs to Cat-7 properties. Then you are in business. Happy camping!
