Well, yeah, hence my disclaimer. But come on. DL owns a significant portion of AM and has a closer relationship with AF/KL than any of its other Skyteam partners. I don't think it's a coincidence that within 1-2 years of the DL/AS divorce, the AS partnership with all of those other DL partners was terminated. If you disagree with me that's fine, but that's my unconfirmed belief of what happened. It's not like DL is going to put out a press release saying "As part of our bid for Seattle, we strongarmed our partners to disassociate with Alaska Airlines"
