Get an Amex Platinum card and then you have access to the DL lounges when flying DL. Surely will be cheaper than an Exec Skyclub membership. No partner lounge access unfortunately, but that won't really matter going forward vs. a DL membership.

I have to say option 2 gave me a laugh. Switching to an airline that isn't a member of any alliance and looking for partner lounge access. lol.
