Thumbs down What are my best Skyclub membership options for 2019? ... or do I even bother?

Hi everyone - I have a Executive Skyclub membership expiring next month. While I was aware it was not really the best value for the money, I wanted to try it for a year. I'm really bummed because I throughly enjoyed being able to access international partner clubs over the past year, especially the Air France lounge in CDG. sigh....

To be completely honest, as the general consensus goes, I agree that I found most of the clubs to be *not* worth the money. Mostly lack of decent food options and sometimes very crowded / stuffy. I most definitely could've spent less over the year just buying meals and Wifi, if needed. I have, however, enjoyed some of the clubs such as SEA and JFK and it has come in handy enough times for me to (consider) doing another year. However, now that moving forward partner clubs won't be included, also that if I don't fly DL on a whim, I can't even get in ... so I'm not sure it's worth it.

I'm also considering switching to Alaska Air if we move to SEA later this year. So my options are...?

1. Renew membership but no free partner lounge access... meh. Unless Delta clubs are going to get better, which I doubt.
2. Wait until I possibly switch to Alaska and use their partner lounges instead? (How do they compare to DL?)
3..or?

I should add, I only get to Silver each year, so there's no way I'll get it for free.
Thanks for everyone's input.
