According to this document ( http://www.seattle.us.emb-japan.go.j...p_20120314.pdf ), Lyrica should not be an issue. It is neither opioid nor psychotropic (let alone stimulant).

I'm just speculating, but perhaps what got her denied entry rather than mere confiscation was having 8 boxes rather than just 1.
