Chase Ultimate Reward Bookings Earning via Fare instead of Distance
Has anybody else noticed that Chase Ultimate Reward tickets are earning EQDs based off fare instead of distance?
I am currently on a trip to Hong Kong using a ticket purchased on through Chase's Ultimate Reward portal.
What I have noticed is that all my international tickets purchased through Chase's portal show the fare cost on American's website; domestic tickets however do not.
Even though I used enough points to discount the ticket by $20.
This caused my earnings to be done via fare via AAdvantage, which REALLY hurt me because I'm trying to boost my EQD's.
I only earned 448 EQDs but if the calculation had been done via distance I would have earned:
10,890 Miles * 25% = 2722.50 EQDs!!!
