Review of Mercure Singapore Privilege room

Introduction Review of Mercure Singapore on Stevens Privilege room Check In Lounge was not ready so only check in at reception was available. Platinum benefits were recognised. Hotel was not busy and no queue for check in. Room Rooms are pretty much the same for all categories except suites. Tiny rooms at 18sqm but well furnished with contemporary designs. Comfortable bed. Nespresso machine with socket nowhere close. Had to move entire machine to use. Very poor design.Mini bar complementary for previlige room. Had beers, juices, soft drinks and chocolates. Service 2 pools in the hotel (shared with Novotel) and being guests can access both. Large gym with modern equipment. Dining Welcome drink available to have at L'Apéritif in Novotel area. Some cocktails are available which are always welcomed. Mercure's lounge is not ready but we were given access to Novotel's. Canapes during evening cocktails was awesome. Oysters, Chilli crabs, Satay (skwered meats), sushi among some of the items. Location One bus stop away from Orchard which is the main shopping belt. Free shuttle bus service available to Newton MRT about 1km away by walk. Overall Enjoyable experience but the location means sacrificing some convenience as surroundings are mainly Condos with nothing much in sight. Some restaurants and bars are at the ground floor of the hotel which can satisfy your hunger if you are not keen on the hotel's offering.Check out my video review of the placehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNXcpv-3FKU
