And does a 'full redemption' earn TPs?

Agree on keeping the Avios balance high enough for other uses, though. A 2-4-1 to CPT requires 137,500 in CW.

PS:
Just read this on my Amex statement ... "You have qualified for your Companion Voucher this year. Start earning towards next year's voucher from 27 Feb 2019."
Oh, and "Avios to be transferred 21,607" thanks to BA Sale purchases!
