Infant turning two during journey
I searched for a thread on this but couldn’t find it.
On the outbound portion of our trip our child will be less than two years old, on the return he will be over two years.
The MH web page says “An infant or baby is a passenger who has not reached his or her second birthday. The age is taken as at the commencement of the journey.”
Does anyone have any experience what this means in practice? My understanding is you can’t have lap infants >2y for safety reasons. For example, if I book him as a lap infant, will he go lap outbound and be given a free seat (like BA) on the return leg? Or do we need some other arrangement?
