Normally this wouldn't be an issue as it's the last segment/flight on the reservation, but would I be able to check my luggage in just from SIN to WAW and not all the way (SIN-LHR)?
With a long layover in WAW (ideally over night) you should be able to short-check your luggage. But there is still a risk that you will have to pay the fare difference.
