And the crime there is? It goes to the single possible assault charge as it makes the threat credibly believed. It doesn't add another charge, and nobody else on the plane is watching this in the gateroom/concourse. Tough to prove anything in a court given that people deplane, and at most gates, go the same way,, often pausing. All that is is extra detail that adds no evidence, surely no addl charges. And that assault charge is thin...what was the threat?, even the OP doesn't know it.
