Regarding your first class tickets with IBP00 fare basis, would it be due to the segments in question not having first class cabins? As an example, I had a ticket that was booked in J all the way through except for YYT-LHR as the B7M8 only has PY. That segment's coupon has N fare basis associated with it as it was already the highest available cabin after J.
