Not this again.
Hyatt has already tried promos like the 500/1000/night promo, and they haven't been successful enough. Moving 40 nights to Hyatt in a 90 day promo period is a LOT of lost opportunity at other chains. A payoff of 60k, or "2 nights at any Hyatt" as the email I got stated it, is not nearly enough of a payoff for moving all that business.
Haven't been successful enough? Says who? And why do people look at this promo as essentially requiring 40 nights? That's just nutty.
