I transferred 240,000 IHG points and was expecting to get 72,000 United miles.
Took a long time but eventually 48,000 United miles posted into my account, then 24,000 more.
Then a few days after that, I got another 72,000 United miles posted into my account in an apparent duplication error. 144,000 miles!
Then a week later those extra 72,000 miles were removed from my account, and now there's no record of them ever being there.
Easy come, easy go. Should have made an award booking, I guess.
