I've googled around for the answer to this question and haven't found a satisfactory answer. ITA Matrix shows a Z class fare on Air Europa for a flight between JFK and MAD for $413 RT. Air Europa says this is a "Tourist" class ticket. Delta's webpage on earning SkyMiles on partner flights does not show fare code Z under any of the "economy" sections. My guess is that this means that no miles will be earned on an Air Europa Z ticket. I called Delta about this and was told that fare code Z equates to Delta One, and that I should earn MQDs based on 20% of distance flown. My guess is that the Delta phone rep is wrong here.

So, two questions: (1) Am I correct to assume that if I book this Air Europa fare for $413, I will earn no miles, MQMs, or MQDs? and (2) based on the Delta phone rep's conversation, will I have any shot of convincing someone else in charge of awarding miles that I should be able to earn MQDs based on 20% of distance flown? I've heard mixed things about Air Europa, but if I can earn ~$1400 MQDs on a $400 flight that might make the suffering worth it.
