Hi all, I am looking for some advise on connecting from BA to AA in IAH.

I am heading to MIA to jump on a cruise at Xmas, in an attempt to aviod the North East USA and possible storms in Winter I am choosing to connect through IAH.

I am arriving in F on the BA195 using Avios at 1410 local time and connecting to the AA2487 at 1630 local time (2.20 mins), as such I am having to connect on seperate tickets due to Avios.

Do you think this is sufficient time to clear immigration/customs etc in IAH and then re-check-in at the AA desks. I am hopeful that on clearing customs there is a connecting check-in zone right by the exit or at least AA check-in is in the same terminal. Having not been through IAH just looking for any local knowledge.
