I have a 2am flight from HKG - I noticed the lounge opening hours on the Cathay website are until 00:30 but some threads on here mention that the Deck is open until the last departure. Is that still accurate?

I would probably try to get to the airport around 9pm the evening before to be able to shower, have a few drinks, etc. Any issues with getting through security “day before” departure (I.e before midnight when the flight is at 2am that morning).
