I'm in the same boat here looking for a redemption almost a full year out. I tried searching this morning and got a message that Aeroplan was down due to "routine maintenance" I had hoped this meant they were fixing the issues but after searching again once it's come back online, still noting. Seems that there are no direct flights anywhere from north american to/from europe and asia. All are connecting with high fee airlines AND high fee airports like LHR. Really hoping this is not a permanent thing and they're just running out the clock Unbelievable...
