Couple of datapoints to share. Was able to get them to transfer points from one member of my family to my account over the phone. Was able to transfer 9k points from her account to her united account and was able to do small transfers of 3 - 15k points from my account to my united account Some of these have posted. Have been unable to transfer the 60k points which i need to transfer despite trying online over the past few days. Each time i do it it says its gone through and the balance on my account is zero and then the points are still in my marriott account. I had merged marriott and spg accounts.
I was on hold with marriott for an hour last night before being given the same empty information as outlined above. Then i read this post and rememberd i have a bunch of hyatt points and have just transferred those!
