What mileage requirements are your seeing?

UA offers two level of awards for its flights and one for partners

BOM to ATH cannot be done on all UA metal, so the partner level will apply

It will be 30,000 miles in each direction for each passenger if a saver partner award exists
For Business class it will 45,000 miles in each direction for each passenger if a saver partner award exists

There are not lower mileage options. The award mileage requirements can be checked here

If you try to force a specific routing (using multi-city option) it may increase the mileage needed.
