I dined in Mar 2018 post-reno and had quite a disappointing EMP dinner. So much so that I emailed the GM and was refunded our wine tasting fees. That impressed us to return, but I can't say we're racing to get back.

Le Bernardin is our favorite high-falutin restaurant--despite the silly jacket req't. Haven't been to Brooklyn Fare, but I hear it's really good.

Gramercy Tavern remains my favorite all-time restaurant in NYC. I also have quite a soft spot for The Lambs Club at the Chatwal--always delicious, always available, always reliable.
