Hmm I dined pre-reno, what do you feel changed? I too second Chef's Table over EMP. Hell I had a better experience at Daniel tbh than EMP. Chef Boulud even came by and introduced himself to me and my wife and talked with us for a bit.
Was going to do Per Se for my upcoming birthday, but the scathing Pete Wells review still rings in my head so I changed the reservation to Jungsik then to Atomix. Can give a quick review if afterwards if anyone is interested in refined Korean.
