What is with the 'new' BA website?
Did a booking and opted to pay by PayPal - signed in ok, but the booking failed even though I received a message from PayPal that BA was attempting to authorise payment.
But then BA brought me to the "Hold now for 5 quid option" with no back button for me to try using a creditcard. So I just went back to the home page and when I tried to book the same flights, it now shows me that the fare has now gone up! I can't even go back to the original booking ... with the failed payment.
So I go back to my email that asks me to complete my booking. Okay, so managed to book the original flights again, but when trying to click on "Continue" the whole site freezes. I can't go beyond that page. I can't go back either. Tried both on Chrome and Firefox. Same problem.
Should I just wait a few hours? Since the transaction didn't complete, there wouldn't be a PNR.
Did IAG buy the cheapest IT for themselves? IB's website is hopeless and now BA is becoming that too.
