I've stayed there 4-5 times this year. If I return, which I may soon, I'll update but I'll probably go for the Westin if the rates are competitive as I prefer being right on the beach.
I'm going in September and the Westin is nearly 2x the price of the Marriott. I had a poor experience last time at the Marriott so am hesitant to book despite the much cheaper rate. May wind up at HHV (Ali'i), which is a better deal than Westin or Marriott.
Back on track, I'm also interested to hear how various Marriott resorts are handling the new benefit.
