If you had a $1000/person travel voucher on AA and needed a kid-friendly August destination, where would you go? Someplace we can spend 2-4 weeks and someplace where we'd use the full value of the voucher no matter how savvy of a flyer/shopper we are normally. For instance, Europe seems like a bad deal to me since Europe trips are never $900/person from US unless you wait until too late, in my experience. North Africa/Middle East seem to hot. Australia/NZ might be too cold and also we've done them both. Bonus points for places that speak Spanish.
