I have a slightly odd update in my SPG account.

My nights to date count still does not reflect any activity in August 2018 (9 nights). Furthermore, it is still the case that none of my post 8/18 SPG nights show in my Account Activity screen. However, my points balance increased by a substantial amount this afternoon, and I cannot reconcile the increase with any combination of recent stays. Additionally, my spend to date increased by a small amount that is entirely out of proportion with the points increase, even including welcome amenity points, etc. The spend increase is somewhat similar, but not exactly, the qualifying spend from a still-unposted stay from 8/20-22.

I’m posting this purely in the spirit of sharing information; I don’t mean for this to be misread as a rant. I’m glad at least something changed in my account; it had been stuck on the same wrong numbers since the IT rollout.
