Many rerouting options are available if it does get cancelled. I assume you’re not in some sort of meeting immediately after scheduled arrival scenario - if so, arrive earlier, even a scheduled flight may be late let alone a rerouting due to cancellation. There is obviously BA from SFO but also many options on AA from SJC and OAK with a connection.
