I'll be flying into FRA on LH961 from GLA and leaving on LH1422 to OTP. The GLA to FRA flight seems be be landing at Terminal 1. The FRA to OTP seems to be leaving mostly from a B gate, but randomly leaves from a Z gate. I have about an 1.5 hour layover. Will I need to cross security? Is there enough time to stop by a lounge depending on gate?
LH961 seems to arrive at a B or Z gate. LH1422 seems to depart from a B or Z gate.
If your flight from GLA arrives at a Z gate and the flight to OTP departs from a Z gate there is no need to clear security and you will have time to stop by a lounge.
If you arrive at a Z gate and depart from a B gate you can avoid security by going through passport control to A, walking though the tunnel and going through passport control into B. If you take the Skyline train you will have to clear transfer security in B.
If your flight arrives at B there is no way to avoid transfer security whether your flight to OTP departs from B or Z.
