The new loyalty program does not include a breakfast benefit or a lounge benefit for Gold Elite guests at any full-service brand.
The Marriott Rewards level that was previously called Gold Elite (before August 18, 2018) is now called Platinum Elite — and that's the level at which Platinum Elite welcome gifts (including daily breakfast for member +1) and lounge access begin. Benefits vary by brand.
Hotels can offer more than the published benefits, but don't count on it.
