Here is the setup:
United.com passenger name (associated with the account): (just sample/fake name for illustration). Dr John Tyler Smith
United.com passenger profile when looking at account info: KTN is there
ticket is issued in my GDS as John Smith with UA MP#, and it shows up in list of upcoming trips on united.com account. The name does not appear to be an issue for United because their upgrade cleared.
When viewing the reservation on either the pax's or my united.com account and clicking edit traveler details, the KTN is missing - adding it in and re-saving the pax details completes without an error, but the number vanishes and the KTN field is blank the next time you view pax details no matter how many times this process is repeated.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
Similar issue. KTN is still in profile, but missing from up coming reservation. Entered KTN three times online and none stuck. Called UA, CSR confirmed she could see KTN three times on her end. Another UA IT issue.
