I thought 'Goodwill" was a regular item shown on annual reports. And has long been recognized as a factual asset.
I also think the complaint about government subsidies that other countries award is specious. The airline business is highly subsidized. The difference is a matter of type of subsidy not the fact of government financial support itself.
