Reissue - Any changes to Selling class (upgrade of fare or cabin except AUP), flight, date, time, destination.......

Purchasing a seat is an issued as a separate miscellaneous document (EMD) linked to your e ticket.

Airline staff have the ability to revalidate your ticket also.... you can only revalidate if the destination and selling class stays the same, it’s just the flight changing. With a revalidate your ticket number remains the same.
