00:30am is part of the previous airport day, full stop. It's not a 24 hour clock. One airport day runs from ~5:30am until about 2:30am, when the last flight goes out. This isn't up for question in the slightest - only in the hopeful minds of FTers. A number of folks who have tried and reported back here say "no". I can't recall anyone ever saying it worked.
But good luck. As for checking in, that I'm pretty sure you can do.
