The issue with food ex-LHR and ex-SIN isn't the menu -- it reads fine -- but rather the ingredient and preparation quality; same menu ex-LAX is a lot better than ex-LHR for example, in my experience the past few years. Seems to be consistently worse, so it is systemic to caterer used, it seems. Reading the menus gives no indication of this. QF used to have lousy catering in LAX circa 20 years ago and they fixed it, has been better for 10+ years now. Somehow they cannot fix it in LHR.
