A day prior to the 18th Aug deadline, I purchased 6 travel packages and coverted them to SQ miles. It took only about 5 days to have the miles credited to my Krisflyer account.
Made an international call to Marriott CS KL Malaysia. Was put on hold for about 5 minutes and the whole process took about 15 minutes. Couldn't access my account right away due to the IT mess at the time, but I did get an email confirmation right away confirming the purchase of travel package.
