Sorry, I misinterpreted your original post. For some reason I thought it was normal for you rather than a forgetful moment. As for me I am the other way as I want to check mine about 10 times just to be sure. Not for safety but just because I don’t want the dam thing ringing loudly and have everybody look at me.
On the subject of going to the loo with the seat belt sign on, I don’t I cross my legs and hold on until the thing goes off.
