Personally, I just checked into Swissotel Merchant Court yesterday, the priority counter was staffed but there was a queue. So I went to the concierge to ask to be sent up to the lounge to check in. The staff said I had to identify myself with the staff at Front Office first. So what I did was instead of joining the queue at the side, I went directly to the Priority desk and queued behind the gentleman who was checking out. I would't say I cut queue but I pulled a George Clooney "Up In The Air" move
