What the concierge could have done is to call up to the lounge and passed on the information and that 'you would be coming up to check in'. That is, in my opinion, proactive action.
To simply snowball you on to the next staff and fash away responsibility isn't good training.
Yeah. That is what I am gonna include in my feedback to the hotel. I still love how Sofitel Singapore City Centre has their bell staff do the checking and guide you directly to the Lounge.
