It would seem unusual to me for an issue I have found on almost every stay to impact only me specifically at the O2. I obviously however can only speak for my own experience.
The issues elsewhere I might put down to normal screw ups were they not so pervasive this year. I do tend to use the minibar a bit but I would say moderately and very rarely to excess.
Might be were things are going wrong. Try stepping up to excess LOM, get the F&B trolley folks running .... it should develop a Pavlovian response eventually. And if excess is hard to hit then stuff them in your bag and feign excess!
